Again, just like in the case of Chromeo's "Fancy Footwork," here is the second example I have of thinking a song's video had been released only to find it replaced by an official (and worse) video, this time for Cut Copy's "Hearts on Fire." I would say that this is easily my favorite Cut Copy song of all time, and just a classic example of romantic lyrics and banging 80's music. Another thing they changed was the the song was original released as a single back in 2007, and then came out again on Cut Copy's recent full length "In Ghost Colours," but the two versions of the songs are different. I personally prefer the original single only release much more, and unofficial video some kid made is better as well (youtube says that it was the winning entry in a Nokia NSeries contest). In fact, the official video is fucking terrible. Between the storyline, and the acting, and the rain effects, I really have no idea why they didn't just use the contest video.
